I am a active military employee that was order to move this summer from FL to RI. I own a home in FL and I am a renter in RI. I have a 1st and second loan on my home the 1st loan is though OCWEN and my second one is though USAA. Since I have moved in May I have stopped paying OCWEN because I am unable to aford my mortage payment and my rent but I have made ontime payments to USAA. Now 6 months later I have just been summoned. Can OCWEN Foreclose on my home? Is there anything in the Soldiers and Sailors Act that could help me out?

I am in the Coast Guard and I live in Florida and I am getting transfered to RI. I bought a home in 2005 for 165k and now it is only worth around 130k. I was told by a realtor that I could get around 800$ for rent but my mortage is 1900$ and I am unable to cover that 1100$ when I transfer. I have called and wrote numerous hardship letters to my bank and they want nothing to do with me. It seems the only way the bank will help you is if you are late on payments or just dont make them at all. I guess my question is what are my options?
Document Document…..Write letters to your State Attorney General, your banks CEO & Stockholders, your state represenatives your local news papers send all mail certified, make lots of noise…be heard. Call your Mayors office. With the rate of foreclosures in our great country today, sooner or later some one will help…just don’t count on it happening before your good name and credit are destroyed. I am currently in the same boat ( no pun intended) and I’m fighting these big corporate fat scum bags tooth and nail.
